Öi is a hide-and-seek game for iPhone provided by MD Apps LTD.
Information used by the app
Öi works offline and does not require an account. The app does not send personal information, gameplay activity or motion readings to us. It contains no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics services.
The app saves your difficulty, music and hide-screen preferences, along with whether you have seen the tutorial, on your device. These settings are used to remember your choices. Öi does not send them to us or provide its own cloud-sync service.
Motion and sound
Öi uses the iPhone’s motion sensors to recognise when the phone is resting still and when it is picked up. Motion readings are processed on the device during gameplay and are not transmitted to us or stored as a motion history.
The app plays bundled music and character sounds. It does not use the microphone to listen or record audio, and it does not access your camera, photos, contacts or location.
Children
The same offline behaviour applies to everyone who plays Öi. The app does not ask children to provide personal information and contains no account registration, chat or advertising. A parent or guardian can contact us with support or privacy questions.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond to your enquiry. It is handled through our email service, separately from the app. You can contact us to request deletion of support correspondence.
Apple services and this website
Apple handles App Store downloads, purchases and any device diagnostics you choose to share under Apple’s own privacy settings and policies. This is separate from Öi’s offline gameplay.
This policy covers the Öi app. Visiting mattdavenport.dev is a separate interaction with this website and its hosting provider, Squarespace; the app’s offline behaviour does not mean that the website uses no cookies or collects no technical information.
